Her Easter Prayer is on shelves now! This book is special to me for so many reasons: its focus on schools, reading, and literacy; the therapy dog who helps the heroine overcome a difficult past; and the Easter message, including a beautiful country church on the cover. It's my first Love Inspired book with a church!

Release days are a funny thing for authors. Far from being glamorous and exciting, they're usually about sending a newsletter, posting on social media, and hoping that readers will discover and enjoy the book. To make it a little bit special, I usually go to a bookstore so that I can see the book “in the wild.” I also took my dog, Nash (the inspiration for the service dog in Her Easter Prayer) for a sunny walk at a nearby nature reserve. And I felt fortunate to hear from many friends and readers that they'd purchased, read, or recommended the book.

My deepest desire, with all my books, is that they reach readers who need an escape from their troubles or day-to-day cares and an uplifting message to think about and enjoy. Books have been a lifesaver for me on many occasions, and I hope to pay it forward by offering the same positive experience to readers.

Happy reading!
