There's a little town in the Laurel Highlands called Confluence…
It's been a favorite destination of mine for many years. Situated where two rivers come together to form a third, it's a haven for fishermen, rafters, kayakers, and bicyclists. Recently, I've spent time at a quaint inn on the river, and it inspired me to write the Holiday Haven series.ย

The inn in my books is called the Holiday Haven Guesthouse. It's a place you can go if you have nowhere to go, especially on holidays.ย
The series starts withย A Home for Mother's Day.ย The inn reopens after family challenges have let it go into decline, and the culmination of the book is a Mother's Day celebration. Of course, there's a single mom who finds love.ย

Book Two, out now, centers on a Fourth of July celebration. The hero and the heroine, childhood friends, have to work together on it, even though they want dramatically different types of celebrations. In the process, the hero learns how to parent his nieces, and the heroine learns how to compromise for the greater good.ย

Book Three focuses on Christmas, but I'll wait until closer to the season to tell you all about it!

I hope you'll come visit the Holiday Haven Guesthouse via one or all three of my books. We'd love to see you there!

O canโt wait to read these!
